Repair Warranty Terms

                                                                                                          

Standard terms for Repairs: 

No problems other than repair instructions will be checked during the repairs.

Warranty is not applicable to (software, motherboard, Soldering, liquid damage) repairs or devices which are bent or with unrepaired frame damages.

90 Days of warranty on repaired parts only as per warranty terms.

Warranty Conditions and Terms in details:

In addition to the rights and remedies that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law, Phone Teq provides the following warranty against defects (Warranty): 

1.warranty conditions 

1.1     Subject to clause 1.2 and clause 1.3 the warranty period, where Phone Teq will repair or replace the Goods without charge, for Goods purchased by you from Phone Teq (Goods) that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or material components (and none of your statutory rights or remedies apply) is as follows: (a) For all devices – 90days or as agreed from the date of purchase of the Goods from Phone Teq or completion of the Services by Phone Teq; and 

1.2     This warranty does not cover:

(a)    Normal fair wear and tear during warranty period;

(b)    Any cracks, scartches or even marks on touch glass or internal damage where outer glass is intact but LCD is damaged in case of display repairs.

(c)     Defects, loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by or as a result of:     

(1)      any weakening or collapse of the device or structure to which the Goods are affixed occurring any time after installation;     

(2)     any damage to or deterioration in the condition of the Goods occurring in transit by your nominated or appointed carrier or occurring after delivery;     

(3)    any damage that has occurred due to fall, striking to any object, heavy pressure, high temperature and misuse of any sort of the goods or device.     

(4)    any defect (including defects in component parts or accessories) rising from or attributable to the failure to carry out normal preventive maintenance;     

(5)     any fault or surge the customer’s electricity supply or defective power supply;     

(6) any malfunction or fault of any device in which the Goods have been installed;     

(7)     any defect (including defects in component parts or accessories) rising from or attributable to the failure to carry out normal preventive maintenance;     

(8)   any additional defect, damage or deterioration arising from or attributable to the operation of the Goods or device in which the Goods are installed after it is known to be defective;     

(9) the Goods or device in which the Goods are installed striking an immovable object during travel or use;     

(10)  any repairs to a device associated with software problems, motherboard issues or damage from liquid or any unrepaired structural damage;     

(11)   the servicing of the Goods by a third party not associated with Phone Teq     

(12)  It is not transferable in case of the device is sold or given to someone else other than original owner.

(d)  Liquid damage of any kind whatsoever;

(e) The Goods where the defect, loss or damage is caused directly or indirectly by or as a result of the fitting or installation of the Goods by a third party (accredited or not) not associated with Phone Teq and

(f) inherent defects in material used in the manufacture of the Goods. Phone Teq will use best endeavours to procure and assign to the Customer the benefit of the warranty of the manufacturer of the material.

(g) One off usage item/service like delivery charges, screen protectors will not apply or replace under warranty.

(h) No refund or replacement if you decide to choose different or substitute product after repairs are done.

(i)  Any notifications from 1.3 Notwithstanding clause 1.1, particular Goods sold by Phone Teq may have a Warranty Period which differs from that set out in clause 1.1. If you purchase a Goods listed in any Appendix, that Goods will have a Warranty Period as stated for that Goods in the Appendix. 

2. Claim

2.1     In order to claim under this Warranty you must:(a)    Contact Phone Teq within the Warranty Period on the Contact Information provided below;(b)    Provide to Phone Teq:(i)     details of the Goods;(ii)    a detailed description of the defect (video or Photo is must);(iii)   your personal details;(iv)  Proof of purchase of the Goods (including supplier, date and place of purchase and identity of Goods).(v)  Keep repaired part installed as it is, in original condition (Refer 1.2)

2.2     Any Goods the subject of a warranty claim may only be returned to Phone Teq by prior arrangement that includes confirmation for date and time within working hours.

2.3     You must bear the expense for the return of the Goods and such other expenses incurred by you and associated with a warranty claim.2.4     if device is submitted under warranty repairs but the problem is not related to repaired parts or repaired parts are not defective then repair quote for new repair is payable. In case of device is not repairable or owner doesn't want to go for new repairs than booking charges $50 will apply.

3.1     General warranty claims will be processed by in a timely manner and reports made available to you providing information pertaining to your warranty claim.

3.2     Phone Teq is not obliged to rectify any warranty claim outside normal business hours.

3.3     Phone Teq may at its discretion elect to repair or replace the Goods. Phone Teq may also at its discretion elect to substitute the Goods with a similar alternative Goods of Phone Teq choosing.

3.4    Phone Teq does not have to repair or replace the Goods under this Warranty if this Warranty does not apply, this Warranty is voided, the Goods have been modified, disassembled, misused, improperly or inappropriately installed, operated or repaired, abused, damaged or not maintained in accordance with the manufacturers or Phone Teq instructions.

3.5   Once warranty date and time is confirmed, it is customer’s responsibility to return repaired item in original condition. We will check devices on arrival and any damage during transit or before device submission for warranty will void the warranty. We reserve the right to refuse warranty on any items displaying any physical -external or internal damage at our discretion.

3.6   Any verbal and physical abuse, threats or any modes of intimidating communications will be treated seriously and it will be reported. Also, the person will be blocked immediately. As being sole trader, the business will not able to do any sort of communication further for warranty claim with existing jobs or future jobs if any due to safety reasons.

3.7   This Warranty is limited to repair, replacement or substitution of Goods only. To the extent permitted by the law, Phone Teq will not be liable for any loss or damage caused to property or persons arising from any cause whatsoever.

3.8 Lien for Unpaid Repair Charges: If the customer fails to pay for the repair services in full upon completion, the business reserves the right to hold the repaired device as a lien until full payment is made. The customer acknowledges that the device will not be released until payment is received in full for all repair charges.

3.9   Phone Teq reserves the right of final decision on the refund or replacement of warranty items. This warranty is only valid and enforceable in Australia.
